Below the sparkling purple sky, a gentle breeze whistled through the steep mountain walls of The Trough. In the valley, thousands of strange trees seemed to come to life. Their branches swayed gently, fluttering their rainbow-hued leaves like fist-fulls of confetti ready to be released. There were many more trees past the Bubbling Lake, creating a canopy that cooled the mud piled about their roots. Through this mud, half-cloaked in shadow, the group of four continued on their journey, walking two-by-two toward their uncertain goal.
Kendall was still naked. She hummed to herself as she felt the mud squish between her toes, the lick of her own sweat running down her exaggerated curves. The jungle had become dense, the trees harder to step between, but every time Kendall did, she welcomed the sensation of their gooey trunks grazing against her sensitive skin.
After one such squeeze, she felt a breath against her ear.
“Do you dare me?” It was Richard, her purple genitalman.
“Dare you to what?” whispered Kendall.
Richard adjusted Alex’s ruck sack on his shoulder, then gestured ahead of them. There, just out of earshot, Drew and Rodney were looking over the map. Rodney’s bare green buttocks rubbed effortlessly against one another, but Drew’s were firmly strapped beneath her tight red boyshorts. Before Kendall could answer, Richard slipped the rucksack from his shoulder.
“Watch this,” said Richard. “Hey, Rodney, catch!” The green man turned, but his face was immediately blocked by the airborne rucksack. Kendall lost track of Richard, then saw a blur of purple dart toward her roommate.
“Ack!” cried Drew. Kendall watched as the object squeezed beneath the waistband of Drew’s shorts. Drew flailed wildly as it wriggled in her shorts, trying to grab onto it. “Get it out! Get it out!” Rodney, still carrying the rucksack, tried to reach for her.
Kendall didn’t figure it out right away. She glanced down, but the jewel on her navel wasn’t glowing.
“It’s okay,” said Kendall. “I don’t think it’s a monster!”
Finally, thick purple goo oozed out of Drew’s shorts. It flopped into the mud, then re-formed as Richard. He stood in front of Drew, hands outstretched, a goofy smile on his face.
“Ta-da!” he said. Drew slapped him.
“Goddammit!” hissed Drew. She turned, then stared back at Kendall. “What the fuck was that about?!”
“Calm down, calm down,” said Richard. “It was my idea.”
“Oh, bullshit, you and Rodney don’t do anything unless we make you.”
“Well, maybe he does,” said Richard. “But once we separate from you, we can do whatever the hell we want.”
Drew grabbed Rodney by the neck and pulled him to his knees.
“If you ever do that to me, so help me—” Drew started. Kendall snorted. She couldn’t help but giggle. “You think this is funny?!” Kendall shrugged. Drew took a step toward her.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” said Kendall, unable to wipe the smile from her face.
“My speed demon,” said Rodney, still on his knees.
“Jesus, will you lighten the fuck up?” said Richard. “It was just a goddamned prank!”
“Lighten up?” shouted Drew. “How many times do I have to tell you? We’re trying to sneak up on this temple. We need to get there before tomorrow night if we want to get home. Alex was kidnaped, we don’t have a lot of food, and everything out here’s trying to fuck us to death! And, to top it all off, I’m probably gonna give birth to a fucking monster baby! Shit!”
“Oh come on, Drew,” said Kendall. “Just look at the bright side!”
“What?” Kendall put her hands on her hips, then struck a pose.
“We’re hot!”
Drew pointed a finger at Kendall and took a deep breath. She was just about to say something when something rustled in the tree above her. Drew looked up, just in time for something small and wet to flop on her face.
Drew panicked, then grabbed at her face. When she pulled the object free, Richard and Rodney laughed. Kendall squealed, then took the pink-and-white striped pair of panties from her roommate..
“Alright! Free panties!” said Kendall. Without batting an eye, she lifted her right foot, then her left, and hoisted the garment up her sweaty legs. The damp fabric caressed her buttocks, then clapped over her heart-shaped batch of pubes. She shook her hips, and the panties settled at her hips. “And they fit perfect!”
More lingerie flopped into the mud. A white lace garter belt. A pink satin teddy. A black silk bra. Kendall grabbed up each of them, then looked up at the tree from which they all came. High in the canopy more than forty feet up, she could see more of the garments dangling from the branches.
“It’s a pan-tree!” snickered Kendall. She scrambled to the slippery trunk, then clawed into it with her long pink nails.
“Wait!” said Drew. “What they hell are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing?” said Kendall as she squirmed up the trunk like a worm.
“We don’t have time for this.” Kendall slipped, then landed in the mud. She immediately started climbing again.
“How many times are you gonna say that?” asked Kendall. “You said yourself we’re making great time, and the attack’s not happening until tomorrow!”
Drew glared at Richard and Rodney. Both stood perfectly still, watching as Kendall worked her way up the trunk. “Well, don’t just stand there!” said Drew. “Help me out here!”
Just then, something bright made Drew wince. She looked down, then held the glowing cock-shaped jewel dangling from her red collar. It was already burning brighter than she had ever seen - and getting brighter still. Her heart skipped a beat.
“Kendall! Get down from there!” yelled Drew. “Something’s coming!”
Drew scrambled to the base of the tree, but Kendall kept climbing. She was already ten feet above the mud.
“Kendall!”
Her pink hair swished aside, and she glanced down.
“I told you, I’m just—!” said Kendall.
Then, out of nowhere, Kendall disappeared into a giant green mouth that snapped the tree in half.
