"Futancée," Coming Wednesday, June 17

I should’ve been more suspicious.  The day we met played out a little too close to the kind of thing my co-workers and I fantasized about.  Getting the room service call from the penthouse suite in the middle of the night - an order of champagne and beluga caviar for two.  Pushing the cart into the room, only to discover that there was no second person there, just a half-naked woman in a soft silk robe.  Having her sign the receipt, then turning to the door only to find it was locked, that you were the person she wanted there.  She would then say something sexy, like “Actually, I was hoping you’d give me the tip,” and then she’d fall out of her robe.  Walk toward you.  And then it would happen.  The magic.  The fantasy.

But that night, when the door wouldn’t open, I was scared.  I could tell right away there was something different about Lori, something fascinating but menacing about her gaze, like the eyes of a feral cat---
